A composer, music producer, violist, and founder of Oclassica, a digital-only classical music label, Sergey Bryukhno has built a multifaceted career spanning performance, composition, and digital innovation.
As a composer, his works combine romantic expressiveness with structural clarity inspired by baroque aesthetics. His portfolio ranges from solo piano compositions to full orchestral scores. His music has reached a global audience, attracting a substantial streaming audience and appearing on hundreds of compilation albums released across major platforms worldwide, with chart success on Apple Music in multiple countries. An internationally active violist, Bryukhno’s artistic reach extends beyond the concert stage. His recording of J.S. Bach was featured in a film presented at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Sergey Bryukhno graduated from the Gnessins Academy of Music in Moscow, where he studied viola with Alexandra Frantseva and Vyacheslav Trushin. His artistic development was further shaped by Valentin Berlinsky of the Borodin Quartet.
